New Coloured $1 Series From Ram

Hi all,

It looks like the RAM are catching up with the likes of Europe and Canada in offering a coloured standard coin series for collectors.

This new Royal Australian Mint series utilises the newest pad printing technology imported from Germany. Comprising six coins in the series, each Uncirculated Al-Bronze $1 will depict in full colour some of Australia's most colourful and unique marine life. The first two releases feature the Easter Clown Anemone fish (Clown Fish) and the Bottlenose Dolphin in their natural environments. Each coin is presented in full-colour informative packaging.

The first in the Oceans Series are due for release in October. For pics of the new coins have a look at Downies site:

The mint has not place embargoes on products lately. I got Downies email before I had the product info sheet and I still do not have images.

Will be posting info here very early next week.
