Hi,

I just purchased this coin and it appears to have never left its original case.

The only web site that I could find listing any monetary information on this coin is:

http://worldcoinbiz.com/index.php?m...ducts_id=362

I hope it is OK to list URLs for illustrative purposes only like the one above. Please speak up if this is prohibited.

The weight of this coin including the red mylar cover is 37.72 grams.

Anyhow, I just want to know

1) whether or not this coin appears to be authentic,

2) the grade and current $ value of this coin,

3) the true and verifiable mintage amount of this coin,

4) confirmation that the Franklin Mint created this coin,

5) the location of the Franklin Mint

6) any other web sites that have reliable data and current $ info. regarding this coin.

The side with the date has a few sprinkles of debris that is just dust on the external Mylar protective layer.

Thanks

This is KM # 16 which comes in two finishes:
M & P, standing for Matte & Proof

1972 P mintage 26,000 $18.00
1972 M mintage 125 XF 100.00 Unc. 125.00 BU 130.00

Im not sure if the Franklin Mint mark,FM, appears on this coin
