nother one found roll searching!
the reverse is interesting. I'm not sure if these had issues with a week strike or not. the 'O' in one looks weak, but not worn

Not being an expert, I will suggest that perhaps the planchette was defective and didn't allow the metal to flow in that area. I researched PCGS coin facts and found no mention of weak strikes for that year.
BUT, as stated just my opinion. Either way, one heck of a nice find!
P.S. gotta go run to the bank and get some rolls

Man, this coin shows a bit of circulation wear, some might grade it MS, but I'm going with a metalmad grade of AU-58.

As for the O in ONE, that's a typical trait of early Lincolns. It caused by the high relief of the obverse shoulder. See the scratchiness on the shoulder, those are mostly due to the planchet, they show because it's not fully struck there which in turn causes the O to be weak on the reverse.

Take a look at this overlay. It helps you to visualize the strike better:

You are a wealth of info BadThad, and the overlay helps a great deal. Also, I am jealous of all these high grade S mint wheaties you keep finding SD! It is pretty hard to find them in any condition here in the Midwest.
