Because of condition, it is worth one dollar. (No premium over face value).

even though these in this condition isn't worth anything over face I always put them back and when I get one of my nephews or kids to do something for me I will put one of them in there and show them what it is. Now every time they find something they always call me or bring it over here to show me. I look at it as getting the next generation of collectors a kick start

Good an noble idea Bryan, as long as value and worth don't enter into it. When worth becomes part of the equation, collecting becomes warped.

When I was born my Great Uncle gave me (via my Mom of course) two 1921 Morgans. I was allowed to "see" them a few times when I was a kid, but the day she put them in my hands and told me I was "old enough" to have them was a special day. I still have them and will NEVER sell them for love nor money.

'That' is the way it should be. How much they are worth is irrelevant. That is collecting.
