I'm going to the Philadelphia Expo tomorrow and I'm wondering if I should look to unload my precious metals or my rarities. Somehow I have an inclination I should hold onto the precious metals. I'm also submitting some of my coins for grading. Any opinions?

My take would be just the opposite of yours. Unload the metals, hold the rarities. After all, you can always buy bullion back later, a truly rare coin you might never see again.
