Hello All,

This is my first post here. When I was a kid my brother had a lighted magnifier that had a tube that loaded from the top with a slide tray at the bottom. One would push and pull the slide to grab, examine, flip and eject each coin. It was great for getting through coins fast.

This magnifier's main weakness is that it did not handle coins gently. I would like to find one to sort Pre-1982 pennies, so I am only concerned with speed.

I have searched and searched, but come up with nothing. My brother thinks he may still have it and is going to try to let me know the make and model.

If anyone knows where I can find such a device, I would be most appreciative. Thanks in advance for any help.
Rest in Peace

I remember an old coin dealer friend of mine talking about these. I think it was called coin-o-matic wasn't it?

I had one of those when I was a kid and it worked very well.It doesn't treat the coins well at all but back then I didn't think of that. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

Don't know if this helps or not but take a look. You could contact the seller to see if they have any info on finding one.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...140434955507
