I would not like to guess.

I have been collecting coins for over 40 years with the occasional look sideways at the bullion prices. They are too volatile to gamble with. If you want a numismatically interesting gold or silver coin that also has bullion value, buy it, and forget about future bullion prices. I bought a nice Double Eagle many years ago for less than $200, because I liked it. I still have it.

It will most probably be sold out of my estate when I kick the bucket.

Good idea for a poll, but the price/oz. should be referenced in US dollars. Speculating on the price of gold in Canadian dollars leaves us to have to guess both the market price of gold AND the value of the Canadian dollar relative to the USD.

(i.e although gold has risen in the past 2 days, its cost in Canadian dollars has remained roughly the same because the Cdn. dollar has appreciated (approx. 1.01 today)).
Rest in Peace
