Copper "token" 22mm "California" and miner panning for gold on one side, some mark under line under miner, damaged; Liberty head facing left on other. Date 18xx. Punch mark on date;

Welcome to CCF, edlfrank. Photos of both sides of this item would help greatly, or just slap it onto a scanner and scan it.

Sounds like a later 1800's game counter, but a pic would help.

I hope you can read this. I am inept at changing sizes on scanners or copiers.

PLEASE try and solve this without a picture. The system won't take a photo larger than 90KB and mine is way over that. I have no idea how to do this. The "token" is copper and as described.

edlfrank, you can send your file to one of the moderators, and s/he can reduce your photo file. Heck, send it to me and I'll do it for you. Click on my "name" to go to my PM; we can exchange e-mail addresses so we can complete the task. I'll even post it for you, if you like. However, as you may have guessed by now, if you decided to post any further photos of coins, you'll need to learn to deal with scanner software. Even my $10 garage sale scanner came with software which is easy to use, though.
