Okay Moe. The scans didn't turn out all that well because I'm having problems with my old scanner, but they'll give you an idea of the condition of the coin.
If you'd care to check out my small cents collection, I have scans of the obverse album pages posted in the member's photo galleries - got 'em all there - FE&IHC, Wheat, and Memorial. Go on over, and check 'em out.

That looks pretty strong to me for a G-4. I could see it as a 6. Nice pickup!

That's what grade PCGS assigned it. But, no matter the grade, I'm happy to have it - been waiting for one that I could afford for a long time.

Congratulations! and nice 1877 too. They are hard to find, but even harder in a nice problem free grade (even lower circulated grades) as I'm sure you know. The 1856 is missing from my 'complete' flying eagle/indian head collection, too, and I doubt i'll ever have one. I started on the large cents recently, and find them a nice challenge. Low mintages compared to the indians, much harder to find a problem free coin, and still rather reasonable prices.

Andrew, a couple posts back, I pointed Moe in the direction of the CCF Members Photo Galleries. When you have the time, saunter on over there, and check out some of the coins in my collection. I've only posted the obverse album pages (Dansco) because it's not a high dollar collection that would warrant scans of both the obverse and reverse. And, too, I'm just too danged lazy to go to all that trouble for alot of circulated coins, but the scans I have posted there will give you a pretty good idea of what I'm working with.
