use a RedBook or just go to local coin shops

RedBook is not going to help if they are counterfeit which I am 97%% sure a few or all of them are

I'm sorry but it looks to me (of those last eight coins you posted) like you have a bunch of counterfeit coins.

I don't see any one of these 8 that look genuine from these pictures.

So just how did your friend acquire those? And why did he ask you about them if you don't know nothing about coins? Is he trying to resell them? Hopefully he didn't pay to much for them though.
I'm just curious why he didn't post this himself here or doesn't he know how to use a computer? If he did already buy them, you may want to suggest he returns them to whoever he got them from and don't buy STUFF he knows nothing about.
