Hi I heard somewhere that EU may be introducing Euro Polymer banknotes in the future?
Can anyone confirm this?

They will probably be, but printed something called Durasafe, which is a polymer substrate part, sandwiched between two pieces of paper. This is like the Optiks thread now, but will be the whole note. In fact, the next series of Swiss Franc notes will also be printed on this technology.
