You can build your own custom smilie list. I will be adding some more soon. You can post suggestions here if you like, subject to Mom and Dad's approval of course.

awsome! now that is a cool toy as was the spell checker.
I have a suggestion though. The spell checker is a great idea but you cant use it if you use the quick reply button on the bottom. IF you can put it on both reply sections that would be awsome.

That is a possibility, they're talking about it on the dev board right now. We'll see.

I looked at it and I gotta say.....I dont understand. I clicked on edit smilie list and all you could do is put a check beside each smilie then you click edit and then it just says it was edited but what did it do? I was thinking I could edit the picture and make it something new but I guess it does something else, can you explain what exactly this tool does.

What it does is allow you to build a custom smilie list from the ones that are available. Basically you can remove the smilies that you never use from your list.
The easiest way to do it initially is to check off the "select all" box at the top, then uncheck the ones you never use. Click "Edit Smilie List", close the list, then refresh your screen. Now the list next to the post box will only show the ones you actually use.

The spellchecker mod is brand spankin' new. I may have been the first one to install it. I've been watching for one, so when it came out I was right on it. To be honest, I've wanted the headbanger guy for quite a while. The custom smilie mod is not a super easy one to do so I've kinda been putting it off. Well, the other day longnine and I were talking about a new smilie in another thread and I finally said, "That's it, I'm doing it today!". And here we are...... I know I have to be careful though, if I give you too many toys too fast, you'll get whiny if there's nothing new after a couple weeks or so.

Done. I used it to correct your spelling when I quoted you.

Dog Gone it Bobby, it worked like a charm! If I can make it work, then anyone will be able to understand the directions and have success.
Was sure hoping I wouldn't need to get the grandchildren over to show me how it was done. thanks again for a neat addition to the forum.

Oh wow! I love smilies! (as if everyone didn't already know this!) So, what are you cooking up for our Christmas present? It's not too early, ya know! Rachel PS- I thought of this after I posted- how 'bout a raspberry smilie? Or a rolling eyes?
