I need some help to ID this coin: country, year, grade, error, composition, date and current value etc.

Also what would be the most effective method to clean this coin of the black gunk that appears on the coin without damaging it.

thanks

The first image is upside down. This is a coin from Egypt: 1/10 qirsh 1909 in the name of Abdul Hamid II.
On the first image there is the denomination with the accession year of the Ottoman sultan: 1293AH(=1876).
On the other side you can see the "toughra", being the calligraphed name of the sultan and just below it, the regnal year "35" (=1909)
This coin was struck at the Heaton Mint in Birmingham (UK)
Rest in Peace

If the material on the coin is indeed "gunk", and by that I understand to mean something like chewing gum, a carefully-wielded toothpick and Goo-Gone should remove any organic substances but not disturb the patina. However, if the stuff is crusty, you'd be best to leave it alone.
