Going through the registers at closing time today, as every day and pulled out some nickels, a few cents, and a silver dime. Was excited about the dime find, and almost didnt even look through the rest as they weren't in very good shape, but the fiance talked me into checking them at least, and I ran across this. I'm 99% certain this is the 1954 S over D error, but wanted that extra 1%, so here I am... And here she is..

Not sure why this wasn't moved to the correct forum....but anyway...it doesn't look like the S over D that I saw recently. The leg of the D was thinner and the bottom of the D was visible below the S. Maybe it's just your pictures so let's hope somebody else chimes in with an opinion.

Actually, what I think I see is TWO S's! check towards the building flush to it, and you'll see the S? looking shape beneath the S mark? ;)
