xshift? Waredu? Fraggy? Where are you?!

I'm intrigued with the twist(s) .

Nic, here is a watered down (actually, the original) version of Mastermind that used colored pegs:
https://goccf.com/t/68969

After you read the tutorial, look at some of the other Mastermind games that we have played. We expand from 4 of 7 colors to 8, 10, 12 of 156 (I think) currencies. Subject to change by the hoster of course!

So let me see if I got this right. The host of the game will pick a certain pattern or sequence of the total currencies( or colors) and we have to guess it in the exact order using hints and or other peoples guesses?

Correct.

Most of the time, it's straightforward and you just have to solve the order. But, occasionally, the host will throw in a twist - like the answer rotates every guess, or something like that.

The rules are ready. I placed them at the top of the thread for easy location. What do you think?

so just to be clear, the winning guess only has to guess the 5 in play, not the order of the 5? edited to make this a question not a statement of fact. sorry.
