"The Royal Canadian Mint is launching a new retail destination* in Montreal's Carrefour Laval shopping mall with the help of well-known Quebec celebrity Véronique Cloutier. Ms. Cloutier will be present at the Mint boutique to greet the public and invite them to trade their pocket change for the Mint's new 2010 25-cent coloured poppy circulation coin."

* The boutique will be open from October 28 to December 31, 2010.

Looks like direct marketing is passé. Back to traditional brick and mortar POS...

Interesting. I guess they are looking at the Christmas market. Will have to check it out, I'm near there.
