Hello,
just wondering how much all silver coins are worth if they have no numismatic value. Could someone list the value of the silver content for the the dollar, 50 cent piece, quarter, dime, and nickel (I forget the year's that they were made with silver)
Thanks for the help

(124) This link is not allowed by the Staff dot com has the info you are looking for, as well as the base metal prices (ie., a pre-1982 Canadian nickel is currently worth 10.8 cents). Everyone who hasn't already should bookmark the site, it's surprising how often you end up using it.

Here's a link with actual factual current prices for silver coins. Not intrinsic values,or approximate values, but the price most dealers are currently paying.

The prices qouted by cazzuey are INTRINSIC prices. If you go to the Edmonton coin show today to sell silver coins,or to any bullion or coin dealer in Canada the prices quoted in the link I provided are within about 3% of what you will be paid.

There are really no key coins in that date range. If you feel the Franklin's are very high grade with full bell lines, then it may pay to send them in to be graded and slabbed. You can send them yourself to ANACS go to their web site for info. You must belong to PCGS or for NGC be a member of ANA. It may be best to see if a coin club is in your area and ask them for help. I am not sure what you have for they are a set not sold by the mint, but put out by a private company. All mint state coins should be already in holders but back then some were no very good for the coins. Best I can do here.
