I recently bought this coin, I'm not really sure what country it is, but it has Arabic writing on it, and the date is 1397 (1978). There are also two dates, 1359-1396 (1940-1977). I'm hoping someone can tell me what this coin is. Thank you.

This is Iran 20 rials: the date is 1368 (1989AD); the third digit is a Persian 6, not a 9.
This coin was minted on the subject: 8 years of Sacred Defense with years 1359 - 1367
