I am placing it up for sale to aid funding to People to People Student Ambassador Program. The Student is my son, No coin I have is worth more than his Education. His student trip is to Australia for 22 days this coming summer. I will ship International on this sale. Your son will have a great time, just make sure his cards will work over there. Is that trip still going to NZ as well? When I did it it split time between Aussie and NZ? People to People is not a listed E-Bay Charity it was founded by Pres. Eisenhower to promote International understanding in our youth. In an effort too promote pease would wide. This institution is located in WA state. Because it is not one of there listed charities this listing can't have the Icon. I think it is a great opportunity for the kids to see other cultures and to help them and kind of let them see how good they have it. I really wanted him to go but he doesn't want to leave his "friends" this summer even though I told him this could be a life changing experience Report this Post to the Staff
twohawks Pillar of the Community United States 1551 Posts	Posted 11/09/2010 10:37 pm Last year I thought he was to young, and he was scared so we wanted to see if he would change his mind this year. He is raking leaves, selling candy bars, and he will be shoveling snow this winter to raise money. He has some goals he is working on as far as the fund raising that is also giving him a lesson on setting goals. How to set them as well as track them and the responsibility. We just do not what to give it to him. Sometimes this generation just (Wants), my wife and I want him to learn the word (Earn). Report this Post to the Staff
