and boy was I excited when I realized that not only was it a uncirculated 1901-G 5 Pfennig (pretty rare), but it ALSO has hub tripling! I couldn't believe it! Here is the picture.

Paid-About-$0.50-For-This....

Anybody have any idea of the premium which is added on to this coin by the hub tripling?

Thanks!

That's a cool error. Even though it's an error coin, try posting it in the World coins with a title of 1901-G 5 Pfennig DOUBLE STRUKE. Maybe that will get some of our members attention! Enjoy the forum and welcome!

Thank you dsking! I thought that maybe I should have posted this elsewhere.

I'll move it to World Coins and see if you get a response there.

cearnan - I have been collecting multiple hub minor coins for some time - I got interested in them in the mid-1970s - they are not as rare as you might expect and because no reference books exist the market is not well developed.
