jdnumis,

The yellow holder actually refers to the label color. All the TPGs have gone through transitions with their labels and holders. ANACs had a white label with green watermarks for the longest time, then transitioned to a blue label (their least respected). About a year ago they tightened their standards and changed the label at the same time to yellow.

Personally, I'm not thrilled with the look, but I am with the grading standards. As always, buy the coin, not the holder.

I don't like the curved shape of the top on ANACS holders. They also seem thin to me.

I would only ask those who question the strength of their TPG holders: "Just what the heck are you doing with these holders, anyways? Leveling the entertainment center?"

Dave I recently cracked an NGC slab trying to rotate the coin in the holder. I kept tapping the corner hoping inertia would rotate. It works with PCGS... nothing... so tapped a bit harder!
