I have noticed when roll searching Lincoln cents that many of the coins from 68-73 are AU.Does anyone know why you seem to find more of these in that range of years then others?

For a circulated coin there are many that I come across that are in great shape.

Because people toss cents into drawers, jars, etc. and they sit there forever. Eventually, they get cashed in and go back out into the wild.

I agree with that BadThad but you would think that there would be other dates turning up in the same grade. I seem to find more from the 60-70 cents.

Eye - Look at the steps on that MS65. They are weak at the bottom and I wouldn't consider that coin FS. It would be in my reject pile just because of the steps. The only exceptions I make on steps are issues where the master precludes finding an FS example, such as the 1977 and the 2006.

Agreed. the post that I had deleted said I'd go 67 because I was using the no-no of the PCGS image as an example to justify my usually OGO (over graded opinion:)

Yeah I quoted myself to get from post #46 to #50 and then made a WTB post for 09VDB's - all of it is gone... Hey Mod!..... what is this Kindergarten or were you a former cop? I mod on a site 10x the size of this MB. I know a little something about sumthin.... delete this and that will confirm that. IF you can't tell a potential good and supportive member from the quality of their posts then you shouldn't be moderating.

Are you serious? you violate the rules by posting to yourself so you can try and get to the BST forums and you have the nerve to call the Mods out for deleting the posts?
