Just looked through a roll of dimes and found one that's gold plated. Is it worth keeping gold plated coins?

Gold plated coins are a novelty,, in the numismatic circles they are thought of as altered coins and have no numismatic value(no matter the hype) from the TV sales channels.

having said that I have three that I have taken from circulation,, although they have no value, I keep them because I found them in circulation.
