to CCF.

The triangular one with the attachment in the hole is about 1/8 of a dos reales piece, probably around 1820 or earlier. Someone wiser than I will be by here to help out with the others.

I am out of my league on those. I will say this however. Some of them look to be beach or shallow water finds. I say this because of the smooth almost polished look they have. They could get that way from years of being washed around in the fine ocean sand.

All are 2 Reales Spanish colonial Latin American coins:

First row:
  • 1.- 2 Reales 1741 Potosi-P (Bolivia) Assayer P KM 29a;
  • 2.- 2 Reales 1752 Potosi or Lima (Peru)

Second Row:
  • 3.- 2 Reales 17(39) Guatemala-G Assayer (J) KM4;
  • 4.- 2 Reales 17(43) Potosi(P) Assayer C KM 29a;
  • 5.- 2 Reales NoDate (Mexico) (Phillip IV 1641-1657) Assayer P KM 33

Third Row:
  • 6.- (1 or 2) Reales Costa Rica (Type IV or V) 1846Counterstamp on a (17)40 Potosi KM 54
  • 7.- 2 Reales 1723 maybe Potosi (P) Assayer (Y) KM29

Between parenthesis () means is partially readable or not present, so it is all inference. So could be wrong

Value: they are all holed probably 5-10 dollars, the only one with clear attribution is the first one and KM gives a value in G of 45 dlls, but is holed so half?
