Although it was snowing and sleeting outside it turned out to be a pretty good day. Managed to get to 2 parks and 2 schools. Altogether about 5 hours of looking. Kinda nice to be back detecting again. Been way to long without.

wow, snowing and sleeting ans you still went out huh, as soon as I have to start wearing jacket I say it's too cold to detect. Looks like you got enough there to buy at least one box of tissues.

Believe you me snazzypit, if I had any more gear on I wouldn't have been able to bend down to dig any coins. I don't care to much for the cold either. My Tesoro was acting up from the cold wet weather. Glad I took my Whites with also. Can always depend on it.

Only found a couple of common date wheaties sunshine99. A 1941, 1969s and 1970s nickel in pretty good condition. Good enough to put aside anyways.

My best spots are under 4-6 foot snow drifts...I dream every night about getting the swinging going again. You are luckier than you know!

Nice haul there! I have never seen it too cold to swing my Ace. I bought a an insulated pair of overalls and jacket set right after I got my detector. They come in handy on a cold fishing trip also.
