Anyone (aka Swamperbob) know how common die cracks are on the mid 20th century Mexican Peso? (coin below is a 1945 one peso)

I have seen quite a few of this series...but this is the only one I have seen with die crack and this one is quite extensive. It is on both sides and goes almost the whole circumfrance of the coin on the one side...

The position of the crack on a collared press is fine in my opinion. I have seen many pesos with similar cracks. Starting in 1898 collared presses were employed for the new Pesos. Cracks of this type showed up immediately. The 1945 peso was a high production coin so dies may have had their lives extended a bit to meet production quotas. The cracks are fairly new and small. I see no evidence of displacement - which is terminal state. A die in this state could make anywhere from a handful to a few thousand impressions before a die break occurs.

Wow, I didn't know that about the age of the die vs size of crack and displacement. Thanks!
