Hello people,
I came accros a coin the last day and I couldn't let that one go.
It turned out to be a really great deal.
However, as much as I like it I have no idea whatsoever about its history nor price value.
I know a bimetallic version of this coin exists but I never seen one in silver.
Here are the information provided by the certificate of authenticity:
"This coin is in silver, called L'ALEXIS has been printed in the occasion of the 150th birthday of the republic of Neuchatel in 1998.
Convertible in Fr.- 10
from 1st march to the 12 September of 1998 at "BANQUE CANTONALE NEUCHATELOISE""
Please excuse the poor google translation.
On the back of the certificate I can read:
Specifications
Alloy: Silver 999
Weight:25g
4000 pieces
Produced by: HUGUENIN MEDAILLEURS - Le Locle
The coin is in mint condition, it is in its original coin holder placed in its original box.
I've been trying to figure out a little more about this coin but nothing came up.
The only thing I know is it's been produced for the 150th birthday of the canton of Neuchatel
I'd be grateful if anyone could help
Thank you
P.S. Picture will follow
Edit: Picture as promised
