I was cleaning out my room today and came across a bunch of old birthday cards of my childhood from various relatives. Naturally I looked inside them for any money I might have left in the envelope as a kid.

Sure enough, I find a card from my 8th birthday in 2000. (yes I'm quite the young one) I open it up and find 4 crisp 1999 and 4 crisp 1995 series $1 notes fall out. ($8 for my 8th bday. haha) No neat serial numbers but old for a note nonetheless.

So my question is are CU 1999 or 1995 notes worth keeping or are they still common even in circulation today?

I wouldn't say that they are common to find in crisp condition in circulation, and I would keep them, but they probably won't hold much value over what is written on the bill.
