Found this one awhile back, but I hadn't really gotten around to taking a pic. Do my eyes deceive me or is this a type 2? Unfortunately, it has a hit pretty much exactly where you'd look to tell the type, but I got it for face so I can't complain too much.

Rollhunter;

Looks like a Type 2 to me.

"August Release"- Is that a die gouge between the E & Pluribus?

Also look for a die dot in the O of Dollar- another good die marker for this coin.(August Release)

Check out this article- excellent info on this coin!

The line between the E & Pluribus is a scratch, but I can definitely see dot in the O in dollar. I cleaned out my bank of Ike's a few months back (350+ coins) and it looks like it was worth it - a lot of BU coins, 1 1972 type 2 and 3 1971-D FEVs. With the exception of the two 1973 coins, that one stash gave me a full set of clads plus all of the major varieties (1971D FEV, type 1, 2 & 3 1972, type 1 & 2 1976 and 1976D). Too bad they don't make a decent album for all the varieties :(

Thanks for the link - that's a great article!
