I had one the other day I thought was a rim Cud,,,MAD the coin not me,,I was a little mad maybe,but I did learn a great lesson thanks,

These seem to be common on the mid to late 80's, not sure why.

Your not kidding,,the more I look closer,the more I can see it,, what is this is caused from,a loose collar or,,I will just check the glossary,,Im sure it will explain,,if not I will ask again,,thanks

i'd like to see the rim to eliminate partial collar as an option before settling on MAD.

If only a few coins appear in circulation. it is an error. But if a lot of them appear in circulation it is not an error..
