I have some iran coins and I am trying to figure out if any of them have silver in them. I have no idea where the date is on any of them and there is a possibility that five of them are silver. (Have one 10 rials,a 5 rials, a 2 rials)These are the possible coins that may have silver.
10 rials is SH 1344 (1965), 5 rials looks the same, or SH 1343 (1964). A close-up would help. Two rials - cannot see. The date is under the denomination, close to the rim. I'd need a better picture of it to say the year. So far everything I see is Cupro-Nickel. Comparing the colors of the coins I can safely say 2 rials is Cu-Ni as well.
Yes they are all copper nickel clads. But I have not been able to find anything on these. I am glad that I went looking at this site for my identification. Thanks.
