Jeffersons!! I like my nickels and you can make it as expensive as you wish. You can get AU/BU coins at a relatively good cost. Then if you want to take your collection to Full Steps one day, you can figure on doubling the price, but it's up to you!

I can't speak on the quarters because I've never looked into them, but I wish you the best with whatever you choose!

I am extremely interested in the shinny stuff lol

If that's the case start yourself a collection of "s" mint proof sets. 1968-present. Low mintage perfectly beautiful coins and a real bargain IMHO.

Don't forget about Jefferson nickels, there are no real expensive ones and you can get many in MS condition for relatively cheap. Plus you have the silver wartime nickels so you have silver in there too.

I think the most expensive Jefferson you're looking at (not toned, but just BU) is going to be a 39-D. In MS66 you're maybe looking $100. And that's at a high grade. You can easily get some really nice eye appeal coins at $60. Then the other dates you can pick up beauties for $15-$20.
