I live on the East coast and am trying to put together a Lincoln set. I was wondering anybody with a bunch of "S" mint cents from the 60s and 70s would be willing to trade for a bunch of "D" or Philadelphia mint cents from the 60s and 70s. I'm having a really hard time finding any "S" mint coins and have only stumbled upon 1 so far. Let me know if anybody would be interested. Thanks.

In what condition? Average circulated? Uncirculated?

David,I've found 68 through 74-s just by roll searching...if you're just looking for circulated coins,I'd be glad to send those. Other dates will need to come from proof sets.

Wrong forum section for this offer.
Are you looking for singles or are you building a roll set?

Quote: Wrong forum section for this offer. Sorry about that. Can you move it? As for condition, just average circulated. I was thinking perhaps somebody might be having a harder time finding "D" or "P" mint cents, which I'm finding a bunch of, and we could trade. I don't really care about dates that much, just what ever you may have lying around.

maineman your a good guy...
Do you get both style S marks for 1974 in your searchs?
74 had type I , and type II
I find type I every now and then but only one type II so far and spent it before I relized there were two types for that year. Now I'm saving them all like you do.

Thanks coppertop...and yes I know there are different styles of S mint marks but I usually don't distinguish them unless they are valuable or in my Dansco.I knew of the large and small date 74, but not specifically the S difference on the 74. I do have the type I & II "S" for the 79 and 81 proofs. BTW, this is one of the best posts I've seen from you....short, to the point, and open to discussion.Keep them that way and you'll get a lot more friendly responses.
