It's Byzantine, a follis from an emperor Justinian - and I think side-view portraits were out of fashion by the time of Justinian II, so it must be Justinian I. Constantinople mint officina beta, I think.

to the community.

I hate to disagree with Sap, but I believe this is a Follis of Justin I. Sometimes it can be a little difficult to tell between Justin and Justinian in these early examples.

I suppose the key to telling which emperor it is, is the identity of the letter I'm pointing at in red:

if this is an "A", it's Justinian (IUSTINIANVS). If it's an "I", It's Justin I (IVST...INVS). Comparing it's shape to that of the "I" at the start of his name, I would still lean towards it being an "A".

Might be Sear 159, from David Sear "Byzantine Coins & Their Values".

Sear 159 has three crosses, Sear 158 and 160 have a star to the left of the big 'M'.
