Does anyone know if a new mint director has been appointed yet? And who it is? Ed Moys' resignation was effective January 9, 2011. Interested to find out and learn more about their background. Have not heard a word about it so far.

Give it time. The President has other things to do besides nominating another Director. He's probably not in a great hurry.

Besides as long as the office is empty that's one Federal salary that's not being paid.
