I went looking in the Glossary for an acronym pertaining to a coin variety - and didn't find it. Then as a test I looked for "WTB" - not there, either.

Consider the plight of the n00b who opens a thread full of special terms and abbreviations. How long would expect him/her to stick around if s/he couldn't break through the terminology, especially if s/he was a kid just breaking into the hobby.

Can the glossary be easily updated? If so, perhaps we could post abbreviations and terms here so that they could be added to the glossary as time permits. Or is there a better way?

Having published a radio club magazine for 22 years, I fielded a number of complaints from new subscribers who couldn't navigate the lingo in the magazine, even though my editors and I tried to tone down the esoteric abbreviations ("SX" isn't quite what you may think - it can stand for "sports"), but we still lost subscribers. I'd hate to see the same thing happen here.

Any good Glossary is a work in continual progress. We'll pick up on your suggestions and add them.

Here's one of my own: "Chop Mark."

Cool beans; I'll try to troll the forum a little more discriminatively to see if I can find other abbreviations and words that might not be immediately familiar.

Don't forget "WTB".

If you've just got one or two glossary additions, click the "add entry" button at the top of each glossary page, and fill in details of the entry; this automatically sends an e-mail to Bobby each time.

If you've got a whole bunch of suggested entries, just send Bobby an e-mail directly with the details of each word or abbreviation. That saves him getting dozens of separate e-mails.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
