I just received the Proof 2005 Marines Commemorative $1 I bought. The obverse looks perfect, as I'd expect a proof to look. The reverse, however, seems top show a wavy surface appearance when the light hits it a certain way. At a few angles, it looks OK. I'd say about 80% of angles I see the waves and 20% I don't. Anyone else ever see this? Any idea what causes it? I've seen hundreds of modern proofs, but never one that had this issue. Can't decide whether to return it yet. Thanks.

Could be flow lines from the metal moving during striking. I have a platinum proof with mini-waves!
