I finally got on the board, after looking at nearly 2000 coins. 4 40%, a crazy looking 1983 that someone stamped some dates on, and a 2006 and 07. Is there any interest in the '06 and '07? Any reason to hold them? Also, is the stamped coin something that is found a lot. or just someone goofing around? It is good to finally get that silver monkey off my back, even if he is only 40%!

The 07 and 06 are not intended for circulation(NIFC), they don't hold much of a premium over face value, but I hold onto them regardless. I have a good 100 or so of these already.
The 83 with the stamped in dates, is nothing special. I've found a number of these and just throw them back into the bag.
Nice find with the four silvers. Sometimes I'm lucky if I even find one.

I found an '88 Kennedy that was stamped with dates as well, and was gold-plated. I read that those halves were sold as a gimmick to honor the 25th anniversary of JFK's election to the presidency.

Nice finds! I hang on to all the NIFC after 2001 myself, but I've accumulated enough that I think I'm going to dump them soon.

I have a Kennedy similarly marked with dates. I kept it, but agree that it's not worth more than 50 cents. If I found another, I'd toss it back.

After further reading, I found this coin was some cheesy 'commemorative' thing marking the 20th anniversary of JFK's 1960 election win. I guess they were still at it 5 years later, Silver Roosevelt.
The good news is that it is still worth 50C!
Thanks for the words of encouragement, everybody!
