I am not well versed in dollar varieties. Excuse me if I am in error.
1-SWL(small water lines)No lines touch the canoe, but 3 lines are present. This looks like your variety.
2-With the Arnprior variety. No lines touch the canoe-BUT-there is only 1 1/2 water lines. + there is a couple other varieties for this year. Then again maybe I'm all wetCan someone else help here?

No Water Line (NWL), Short Water Line (3 lines but none touch the canoe), FWL (at least one of the WL touches the canoe) and Arnprior (1.5 WL) varieties exist

For certain then that this is NOT a Arnprior?

Do all Arnprior dollars have the same number of water line?

Thanks

Per Charlton 65th edition, p. 195, for 1950-52:

"The so-called Arnprior configuration consists of 1 and a half water lines at the right. Any trace of the bottom water line disqualifies a coin from being Arnprior."

For 1955, the Arnprior configuration is two and a half lines to the right (Charlton, p. 198).

Your dollar looks like a short water line variety (1952 SWL) to me.
