I took time out from writing newspaper sports stories today to go out and check the mailbox.

What a wonderful find. An envelope from Scoutjim and a package from Triggersmob, all the way from Australia.

The contents were fantastic!

Scoutjim sent two banknotes which I have been wanting for some time.

Triggersmob sent some absolutely great coins, as well as Australian banknotes which I have been looking forward to.

My collection has improved so much today, thanks to these two wonderful CCF members. I do so appreciate their kindness.

Our members. That's what makes Coin Community Family the wonderful forum which it is!!!!

By the way Gary I get the buffalo today. They are wonderful. More coins for my collection. Thank You.

Scoutjim, Funny you should ask that question, because just moments before I read your post I was looking at the notes through my magnifying glass and trying to determine just what they were.

The small one is a French note, issued while WWII was still in progress. Don't know which French Government.

The larger is probably JIM, but I don't recognize the language, so can't guess which country was being occupied.

I don't own a single book on banknotes, so don't have anywhere to turn. Guess I might try the internet.

Anyway Jim, they're great, and I'll get them figured out -- or you'll tell me!!
