I found the most interesting thing the other day. I was given a ten cent coin from 1988 with a frosted proof finish in change! This seems most unusual to me. How often can one come across a proof coin in their change?

I'm going to keep this dime as an unusual find. However, I am curious as to the grade of a coin like this. It was found in circulation and no doubt has a few nicks in it. Is it worth any more than ten cents?

That's crazy! Who is putting these into circulation? I mean it just seems odd to have someone buy a proof set of coins and then just spend the coins at face value. It's not like proof coins can get mixed in with the circulation coins. They're minted at two different mints after all.
