Hey guys and gals, this is my first post.

I have pulled from circulation what looks like to be my first un-plated zinc penny. I have over 20 un-plated US pennies. This coin's text, beads, reverse leaves and the Queen is very sharp. The copper plating doesn't seem to have been dipped in acid. The rim does have some pink hue to it in spots maybe from contact fron other pennies in rolls or bags.......any ideas

The last box of pennies that I went through, there were many coins that have the same streaking marks. There were so many, including the 2005 that I did not take any more from the rolls. There were too many with the streaking marks to have been sanded. Other years that had many coins with this same type of streaking were 2007 and 2009 as well as the new 2010's.
