My problem is I do not know enough about today's value of my collections and it seems that there is nothing around a 30 mile radius.
I checked my Yellow Pages.
Can or will anyone here tell me some names of coin magazines so I can call book stores out of town to ask if they carry them.If I could ask for a book by name I would not feel so uninformed.

Yes I am learning how to get around on the computer, but I manage to loose myself, thanks for the help

I would recommend subscribing to the greysheet. It gives wholesale dealer to dealer prices, and would give you an idea of what your collection might sell for.

Check out Google for possible coin shows in your area. At a coin show last Sunday there was a table full of all kinds of advertisements for dealers. Also, a coin show calendar. I took that and when I got home and looked at it, the thing was so full of coin dealer advertisements, I just threw it out.
You might also want to just go to Google and type in coin magazines or coin books. Also, coin stores and/or coin shows.
