As I have begun to advance my collection of Bosnian banknotes, I am also learning a great deal about these notes, some of which doesn't show up in the 8th edition (2002) SCWPM, aka PICK. So, I thought I would go through a few of my notes, and share with you what I have learned, so far, and also what information I don't know that perhaps someone could help with.
Today's notes of discussion are listed as P#6 through P#9.
This series is often referred to as the 2nd Provincial series, or 2nd Novcani Bon ("good for notes") series.
There are 4 denominations in the series: 100 dinara (P#6), 500 dinara (P#7), 1000 dinara (P#8), and 5000 dinara (P#9).

This is a massive series of notes, and I have only begun to attempt to collect them, so my experiences with them are limited.
These notes were used in the Bosna River basin of central Bosnia, which was the Moslem held region during the 3-way civil war that erupted upon Independence. As the notes were distributed to the various industrial towns, they were overprinted locally with a handstamp identifying the town of origin. These include:
--Breza

--Fojnica

--Kresevo
--Tesanj
--Vares
--Visoko

--Zenica

(all of these towns lie in a range of 100km east or west of the Bosna River, running between Zenica and Sarajevo.)
Of all the above cities, the Zenica issues are the most common, and also most affordable. I imagine that this may have to do with the fact that the town of Zenica is larger than the other 6 towns, combined.
Besides just the various city stamps, I have also discovered a variation in the serial numbers of the notes. While the majority of notes that I have encountered seem to have serial numbers that begin with "Nr.", I have also found some notes with the serial numbers that begin with "No." It also appears that the 5000 dinara notes have the "Nr." in a different font than the other denominations.
