Hi !

A member here sent to me 8 rolls of 5¢ forthat I can build my collection.

I don't check the variety because I don't know them for the moment.

My oldest is a 1939

I have 98 of the year 2000's but nothing of 2009.

75 of the year 90'S

61 of 80's

28 of 70's

18 of 60's

46 of 50's

5 of 40's

1 of 39 like I already tell to you.

Where I was very surprised is the number of same date. If someone find them, it must have a gift lol

The second place go to 18 of 2006 and the first place to.......... 1957 ! with 32 coin's !

I will fill my album later tonight. If someone can tell me the list of error and variety like someone make for the penny it will be more fun :)

Thanks !

Don't forget, some of the nickels are 35% Silver. 1942 P,S 1943 P,D,S 1944 P,D,S 1945 P,D,S

Usually 1964 is the most common of the older nickels and I believe 2009's are hard to find.Look for the nickel roll searching thread on here. Those guys have a lot of expertise .

Good idea to check with others. I don't collect nickels, so my knowledge is limited. There are many people here who can answer this for you.

No years are pure silver. None. Some though are 35% silver. They are: 42 P,S 43 P,D,S 44 P,D,S 45 P,D.S

The "Nickel" has never been pure nickel in composition. Actually to the contrary, it has historically, and still is MOSTLY Copper.
