Don't think I've been kicked by a horse yet? Feast your eye's upon this! I've heard other people on other boards reffer to this as a cowlick error. I'd like your input on error ID/Value! Thanks guys! Hope you had fun looking at these... The whole search took a few hrs but I feel I was rewarded heavily!

The 1982 P is a collar clash and is very common with no extra value. The 2000 P has some finning of the rim. I don't think it is high enough to command much of a premium. The 2008 P is a die chip. I see these on ebay and never really paid attention to what they bring. Honestly, it is a common error and should not have a premium. Always remember, fancy names are put on common coins to make them appear valuable. If the coin is valuable on it's own then no fancy name is needed.

Thanks Pyrob! "finning", I've heard the term, but never knew what it meant... Thanks for straightening me out with the others! Hope to get good enough one day, to help people like you guys!

Oh you will. Finning happens when the pressure of the strike is strong enough to force metal from the coin to flow out so much some pushes up between the neck of the die and the collar. This can be caused by too narrow of a stroke between the dies or it can also be caused by a planchet that is thicker than normal. Finning can have a value to it if it is substantial. I remember seeing a 2009 cent with a fin on one side over 1/16" high bring good money on ebay.
