Guess newbies like me have to have a certain # of posts before using the PM system? Anyway, in an old thread he had mentioned the Cairo Street elongated from the 1893 Columbian Exposition, and I was going to tell him that I used to have one. I sold it to the guy who put up the 1893 Expo website, and unfortunately his pic links seem to be broken now, but I still have a picture of it on my server. I believe I have seen a few different designs of elongated coins from the Columbian Expo but the Cairo street is the most popular. Thanks for showing it Report this Post to the Staff

My grandfather kept them all in a little cardboard box, and eventually gave them to me. http://71.1.42.94/elongated When Tom approached me to buy the Cairo Street, I wasn't going to sell at first because it was a family heirloom, but he made me a surprisingly generous offer I couldn't refuse.
