Hi! :D
So, I bought a series 2001 dollar (block L-K) that has a very slight 3rd printing shift error. The lower left '12' just barely touches Marin's signature, and the serial number on the right side is almost touching the ornamental leaves.
The bill grades VF. I paid a dollar and 2 stamps for it.. Was it a good buy? lol

I know... And so is the library, whose internet I have to use to post pictures online.. I wont be able to get there until friday.
Sometimes, cell phones just dont cut it :P

It's been my observation that notes printed for San Fran are more likely to have this type of thing. Why? because the number 12 is wider than most of the other numbers. If that note was a Boston note the number wouldn't touch at all.

I have to go along with the general consensus on this one. Value is one dollar. I pass on those when I find them unless the overprint is clearly on top of other printing.

Yes but in that case the overprints are in the correct position.
