Hi !

Does the rules change for trade or selling item on the forum ? I think that I already place some ad to sell and now it need 250 post.

I thing that 250 post is very high for that, the fun on a forum it's to buy, sell and trade, talk about it's fine but it's fun to make some contact for exchange too.

I'm not so happy with this rules, I ask question sometime but my english are not perfect and sometime when I can not find good word I don't write...

I hope that the rule can be revised.

THanks !

this has been discussed many many times and it was something we didn't do hastily, it was either raise the limit or close the BST forum all together. there have been numerous problems with this part of the forum and this was the only way we could see to avoid some of them. The limit was raised from 50 to 250 a few months ago. Buying/Selling/Trading isn't the purpose of this forum, it is here for collectors to get together and discuss coins, the BST part was just there as an addition to and never was meant to be the reason for members to join the forum. We do not wish to be another ebay or craigslist we are a coin forum first and we allow our established members that have over 250 posts and has actually been an active member long enough to trade with the friends they have made on the forum. Since this was implemented we have only had a few problems where we were having at least 1 every couple days before this rule was changed. I am sorry you do not agree with the rule change but its what had to be done, stick around and post and talk coins with the members and you will get 250 posts just as fast as you met the requirements before.

Hi !

I don't buy and collect expensive coin's, I just collect for fun. ebay are not fun for that, the fee is too expensive to sell cheap item.

It's more easy to trade or buy cheap item with collector and from non commercial people.

I thing that the goal of collecting or any hobby is to have fun and make some development to find new collector etc... with the rules of 250 post is not what the forum want to make I thing. Finally, same if a have 10 000 post if the interested person have 249 I can not answer to me...

Anyway you can make what you want but I don't agree this method.

Thanks!
