Just bought this one on ebay. Was sold as BU, but I'm thinking that mark above the year (年) would nudge it down to F. (Got a good deal on it, so no big worries.) Can anyone confirm that as post-mint and my rookie guess at grading?

I'll try to get a better picture when it arrives this week. :)

Actually, http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1026.html has that coin without the mark, so that mark is not on all coins. Would I be right to assume that's a Fine coin rather than BU then?

I think that mark would be a post-mint or a bag mark, but I don't think it brings it down to an F yet. Maybe an AU. However for BU coins, they don't have to be perfect, just uncirculated.
